A Talk given by Dr. David Herne, Principal, Physical Systems at the Australian National University, Mount Stromlo Observatory, Canberra, ACT. David will use data generated by this spacecraft to aid in correcting a major source of errors in low-frequency radio astronomy, the distortion of radio signals caused by the combined effects of the Earth’s magnetic field and charged particles of the ionosphere.
